About Me

I am a clinical social worker with a strong emphasis on the healing power of a therapeutic relationship. I take pride in my ability to create and maintain an environment tailored to each unique individual. I am curious and creative in my approach. Clients appreciate my ability to be direct and nonjudgmental. I draw on humanistic, cognitive, and mindfulness techniques. I enjoy jungian approach and the emphasis of personal choice in our life outcome. I primarily utilize CBT and narrative therapeutic modalities.

I am a graduate of Hood College and I earned my degree as a Master of Social Work from University of Maryland, Baltimore. I am committed to continuous personal and professional growth, placing weight on ethics and current research. I have experience working in outpatient mental health clinics, the school system, several years as an inpatient psychiatric unit therapist, and within the juvenile detention system.

Since the challenging transitions of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, my practice had remained exclusively virtual.

Office space likely to return fall 2025.
